Typical Saturday Morning Workout
at the
Velocity Center in East Longmeadow

Warm-up starts with a 10-minute jog

around the turf section.

Next up is Yoga exercises

for flexibility

led by Coach Morton.

 

Head Coach Janice Watson

then leads the group in

more traditional

track-related stretching.

While the runners begin

drills on the 4-lane straight-away

volunteer trainer, Steve Conca

puts two shot-putters

through a series of tests to determine

which exercises will benefit them the most.

After the conclusion of drills and relays

the group gathers around to hear

plans for upcoming workouts

and competitions.
